Be a True Friend

I have always wondered what a real "best friend" was like.  What they did to be your best friend.  What made a best friend a best friend?  Well, I have come to my conclusion.  They are always there for you, no matter what happens.  You can trust a best friend, and they can trust you.  If you don't trust your best friend then they arn't your best friend.  Are you a best friend to someone?
A best friend is a shoulder to cry on, or someone to laugh with.  Whenever you do something fun you say "I wish she/he was here.  It would be so much more fun"  If you lose your best friend over something silly don't bother trying and trying again to get them back.  If you try once and it doesn't work then they arn't worth the effort.
My Best Friend ever and I just had our first fight a few days ago and we were not mad at each other in a minute.  Because we forgave each other.  We didn't hold grudges.  We were being best friends, we were being true friends.
My friend just lost her very best friend because her friend didn't trust her.  Now my friend is the most trusworthy person I know and it shouldn't have happened.  It was a tradgety.  It was aweful.  But, she always going to be there for her friend.  If her friend wants to come back and say sorry or needs a shoulder to cry on she will always be there.
"Sometime you need to run away just to see what comes after you"
"Friends are like stars.  You don't always see them but you know there always there"

Think of Others

I love gymnastics!  It just makes me feel good.  I love competing.  It makes me feel like a winner.  I love watching my friends to great.  It makes me feel good to congratulate them.  Sometimes people only focus on themselves.  I do it too.  But, I try to fix it.  When I start thinking only of myself I do something good for someone  else and it makes me feel good.  When I am at gymnastics and someone goes then I go the first thing I do is go up to them and ask what score they got.  Sometimes we need to do something for someone else and I know I don't usually do it.  But, it just makes you feel good to something good for someone else.  Just care.  It may be something little.  Like going to a homeless shelter and giving them four rolls.  It may not matter to you to give away such little food.  But, that might be food that they haven't had in days.
Don't think just of yourself.  Today I was at a meet and I saw people who after their friend who fell off the beam twice went and the first thing they did afterwards was stare at the scoreboard and wait on their score.  When they finally went to ask their friend what score they got and their friend would said something like 7.750 and they said oh I got 8.950.  There was no, "Oh, thats ok" or "You'll do better next time" or even "That's great!  Especially with two falls!"  They didn't congratulate or have sympathy.  They just said the score that they got.  Some people are just like that.  But, some people can fix it and even if it is you to be careless of others please try to fix it.  Just help others, please.  For them, me and even yourself.  You will feel better.  :)
